In February there is a thaw . . .
It is time to get things started for Spring. We have had our thaw and the ground here is draining. There has been lots of rain but the puddles last only one or two days. Night-timperatures are creeping up and we see the sun occasionally.
I started 6 chicks a week ago and ordered a moveable chicken pen.
I have real need for a "Chicken Tractor" this year and these chicks will be my "team". I have tried this technique with home-made fences and coop, even attached wheels, but it was very awkward, heavy and did not work well. But you always learn from your projects. I learned what I was really looking for in a moveable chicken yard.
This is what I found . . .
I am planning to manage a flock of Quail, Cotunix quail, for eggs and winter protein. They too will be monitored and balanced using rates and techniques practiced at Little Farm Research.
I will be sharing my techniques and the IDF tunings we prefer, based on the response we see in our flock. My focus is to keep my farm creatures environment as near to natural setting as I can and still be productive and maintain exceptional quality. This has always been our goal at LFR th work with natural law.
Natural laws and a real study and you will be surprised with their consistent wisdom. Working with them brings impressive responses to your radionic tuning sessions.
